Jakarta, ThdailyID — Ramadan is always about connection, waiting for parents’ messages, video calls at dawn, and smooth journeys home for Eid. In moments when distance should no longer be a barrier, connection is not only about technology, but also about peace of mind, closeness, and togetherness.
Welcoming Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) officially launched #LebihBaikIndosat as a commitment to continuously evolve and deliver experiences that are closer, more relevant, and more meaningful for Indonesians.
Carrying the spirit of “You Only Need One” (YONO), Indosat believes that during important moments people need one reliable connection, one helpful innovation, and one real action that makes a difference. This is the core message behind #LebihBaikIndosat during Ramadan this year.
First, Indosat strengthened and optimized its network across more than 75 major homecoming routes and over 790 strategic points of interest nationwide. Network monitoring is conducted 24/7 to ensure customers remain connected without disruption, both in major cities and in hometown destinations. To test network readiness in real conditions, Indosat launched the #DVET “Perjalanan Menjadi Lebih Baik” expedition featuring Dave Hendrik and Iwet Ramadhan, livestreaming a journey from Jakarta to Yogyakarta to demonstrate network performance along high-mobility routes.
Second, Indosat introduced Sahabat AI, a digital assistant designed to deliver more relevant and meaningful digital experiences, especially during Ramadan when online activity increases significantly. Built with global AI technology supported by NVIDIA and tailored to understand Indonesian language and local context, Sahabat AI helps users find information, generate ideas, and manage daily tasks in a simple and natural way.
Third, Indosat strengthened digital protection through AI-based Anti-Spam and Anti-Scam features. Since its launch in August 2025, the system has detected and blocked more than 2 billion suspicious calls, messages, and malicious links, preventing potential risks before they reach customers. The system continuously learns from evolving threat patterns and is estimated to have prevented potential financial losses of up to US$500 million, with more than 95% of customers reporting feeling safer when the feature is active.
Fourth, Indosat reinforced its social commitment through the CSR program “Indosat Berkah Ramadan – Surau Kita Berdaya,” implemented across 19 locations, including post-disaster areas in Aceh. The initiative revitalizes small mosques and prayer houses as centers for worship and community empowerment, in collaboration with local partners and communities to ensure meaningful impact.
President Director and CEO Vikram Sinha said #LebihBaikIndosat reflects the company’s commitment to becoming a closer partner to Indonesians. He added that during Ramadan, customers should focus on staying connected with loved ones while Indosat ensures reliable networks, secure digital experiences, and seamless communication. Through #LebihBaikIndosat, the company aims to make Ramadan 2026 more comfortable, secure, and seamlessly connected for communities across Indonesia.
