Harry Kane became the star of the match after scoring a hat-trick for Bayern. The title also completed Bayern’s domestic dominance this season after previously securing the Bundesliga trophy.
The final started intensely as Stuttgart created several dangerous chances early in the game. Deniz Undav nearly opened the scoring through a header, but Bayern goalkeeper Jonas Urbig made an important save.
Urbig later produced another crucial stop after blocking a close-range shot from Chris Führich, preventing Stuttgart from taking the lead.
Meanwhile, Bayern gradually gained control through possession and attacking pressure from multiple areas of the pitch. However, despite creating several opportunities, the German giants failed to convert their chances during the first half.
As a result, both teams entered halftime with the score still level at 0-0.
Bayern finally broke the deadlock in the 55th minute. Harry Kane scored with a header that Stuttgart’s defense failed to anticipate, giving Bayern a 1-0 advantage.
The goal boosted Bayern’s confidence as the team continued pushing aggressively for another goal. Kane doubled the lead in the 80th minute after receiving a pass from Luis Díaz.
The England captain successfully beat his marker before firing a low shot into the bottom-right corner of the net.
Stuttgart’s situation worsened during stoppage time after Angelo Stiller committed a handball inside the penalty area. The referee immediately awarded Bayern a penalty.
Kane calmly converted the spot kick in the 92nd minute to complete his hat-trick and secure Bayern’s 3-0 victory.
No additional goals followed before the final whistle, allowing Bayern Munich to officially lift the German Cup trophy.
