Ternate, ThedailyID — PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo), a member of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) holding, signed a cooperation agreement with the North Maluku Provincial Government to strengthen the delivery of suretyship guarantee services. The signing took place in Ternate as part of a broader series of partnerships involving the North Maluku High Prosecutor’s Office and regional governments across the province, centered on institutional cooperation and the implementation of social work sentencing programs.

Jamkrindo’s Director of Operations and Network, Suwarsito, described the agreement as a strategic step to expand the use of surety bonds in public procurement. He said the partnership is aimed at improving legal certainty while reducing the risks of project delays and contract failures, and represents a shared commitment to supporting inclusive and sustainable regional development.

He also expressed appreciation to the Governor and local administrations in North Maluku for their openness to collaboration and innovation. According to Suwarsito, the agreement marks an important milestone in optimizing suretyship services to strengthen governance and improve the management of development projects in the province.

The collaboration, he added, aligns with national development priorities, including job creation, entrepreneurship support, stronger governance, and more balanced regional growth. With its extensive service network, Jamkrindo is prepared to assist local governments in accelerating strategic projects that deliver tangible benefits to the public.

Beyond the agreement, Jamkrindo reaffirmed its support for joint initiatives with prosecutors and regional authorities to develop an empowerment ecosystem for participants in social work sentencing programs. Through its corporate social responsibility activities, the company provides practical skills training to enhance participants’ entrepreneurial capacity and economic opportunities, helping them reintegrate into society.

Suwarsito noted that Jamkrindo welcomed the opportunity to contribute to restorative justice efforts coordinated by the Attorney General’s Office. Training programs already implemented include shoe laundry services, perfume production, and the manufacture of laundry soap, all designed to equip participants with marketable skills.

Professor Dr. Asep Nana Mulyana, Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes, emphasized that the signing of the memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements reflects concrete institutional synergy rather than a ceremonial formality. He said the collaboration ensures that social work penalties are applied in a fair, structured, and socially beneficial way, strengthening restorative justice practices while supporting economic and social development in North Maluku.
